Staff Evaluations - Instilling Excellence
When it comes to staff evaluations, how do you encourage exceeding expectations as a desire vs. an obsession?
We have a culture of excellence at our church and of immediate feedback culture. So we are constantly evaluating what we’re doing well and what we need to improve on. PC encourages his staff to identify 3 people from different churches or organizations that have roles similar to them that they talk to and learn new ideas from. Don’t worry about getting bigger, worry about getting better, and by getting better, you’ll get bigger. Reward those who are continually improving.
