Growing and Shaping Groups of Intercessors
With the list of different groups of Intercessors, do you find yourself moving people around as you grow a more personal relationship or may drift away?
As your ministry grows, you may find that intercessors shift in and out of different groups. Sometimes relationships deepen and people move closer. Other times life changes or distance causes people to drift. This movement is natural and not something to fear.
What matters most is commitment. Intercession is built on trust and consistency. The more you share with your intercessors, the more they will carry those needs before God in prayer. If you withhold or keep communication minimal, their engagement will naturally decrease.
Think of it as a two-way investment. When you invest in them by giving insight and updates, they invest back through focused prayer. Over time, you will see which people remain steady and which ones step away. Both are normal and both can be healthy.
The key is not to hold too tightly to who is in which group at any moment, but to continually cultivate depth and commitment with those who are called to pray with you.
