Seeing people through the eyes of faith and speaking destiny over their lives.
See people not as they are, but as they are going to become. Parents do this naturally with their children, already planning for who their kids will be one day. Faith looks at people the same way.
Romans 4:17 says, "I have made you the father of many nations. This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing."
Mayo Sowell came to Growth Track with an ankle bracelet, fresh out of prison, and asked, "What do you see in me?" The answer was, "I see a man of God, somebody who is going to change the world one day." Mayo went on to become a Highlands College student, a staff member, an elder, and a church planter in Atlanta.
Spiritual sons and daughters need the affirmation of their fathers and mothers. Speak what you see over their lives.
