Casting a multiplication mentality around services and campuses starts with teaching the why, not just the what:

• Never let people believe big church is bad. Preach the value of a soul and the reality of heaven and hell two to three times a year.
• Remember the gravitational pull toward selfishness in all of us. Teach the why, not just the what.
• Bring in master planners to tell you what's actually possible, and ask for the order to build in, not just the what.
• The next most important thing isn't always seats or a campus. Sometimes it's better children's space.
